One of our newer projects that is coming onboard with CarbonDivest is in the Provence of Nariño and the area of Pasto. The land that is owned by the Indigenous and our contract covers 800,000 hectares. This area of Colombia has volcanos, waterfalls, forested lands, and Indigenous communities that are eager to restore their lands that have been deforested over time. We will be supporting these communities through reforestation, and high-tech monitoring to be assured that their lands are safe from illegal activities. Also, we will be supporting the people in the communities through supplying food, potable water in the remote areas, medical resources, and implementing renewable resources that are sustainable.
We will be providing updates as we receive more information and can share the progress we are making with our new Indigenous communities.
You can partake in this project that will be helping the communities establish an improved socio-economic status and restore the forest by implementing conservation education and monitoring technologies.
