Part of the Colombian Amazon Rainforest

CarbonDivest is working with indigenous leaders to protect and conserve the Amazon rainforest on their lands.  They have cared for this part of the Amazon Jungle for hundreds of years. These tribes want the biodiversity to continue thriving and protect the rainforest that emits the oxygen the world needs.

Their mission: Continue protecting the Amazon Jungle and waterways.

YOU will be sharing this mission by helping keep these rainforests alive for decades and centuries to come.

We work with Indigenous leaders and communities to obtain carbon credit certificates and implement carbon offset programs to enable your purchase of Carbon Emission Offsets to go even further.

Our team actively coordinates communications between lawmakers and Indigenous community representatives.

Another area we are working in includes local Indigenous tribes and Colombian lawmakers in developing a cap and trade agreement to create a viable and sustainable local funding infrastructure.

Monitoring the Forest Works Like This – We are helping protect the land they call home from deforestation and other damaging projects by bringing technology protection to the Amazon jungle.
Tropical Rainforests annually absorb 1.4 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Trained technicians compile and study satellite data to detect deforestation and then distribute reports to local communities. These reports are used to investigate illegal deforestation activity. Local Indigenous community leaders can use our smartphone software to spot threats and work with local authorities by sharing compiled deforestation data. This model has been highly effective in preventing deforestation.

Drones are used to monitor the land, protect the forest, and produce regularly updated reports to ensure that no deforestation occurs.

We will be offering a view from the sky through satellite imagery eventually. We want you to enjoy the beauty that carbon emission offsets have preserved.

YOU CAN BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION.  MAKE A DONATION TO THIS PROJECT NOW.
